Hella part number 9.1308.01 Driving lamp insert. from a Comet 500 and they fit like a bought one

I said option 2, but I think 1 is the way to go. It looks factory and it will spread the light out more.

When I installed my Hellas I used the Option 1 location, mostly because it does spread the light better and it keeps the grille openings clear.

I have my driving lights relayed off of my high-beams, but I think most people who put in switches place it on the trim peice between the dash and the knee bolster. Anyone have a better location?

because relaying em up to your high beams sounds like a very good Idea
