When to change diff & transfer case fluids?

At what interval should the differential and transfer case fluids be changed?
Schedule A in the owners manual does not show a suggested interval for either of the items.

I believe the book calls for the diff's sometime between 20-30K...I did mine right around 25K and it was extremely easy. As for the t-case, i'm not to sure.

And I'm going by schedule B in the owners manual, since most of my driving falls in that category.

Friction modifier is for the rear diff but only if you have track-loc.

The t-case just takes atf+4.

This may be a dump question but I have to ask...
If both diffs are using the same oil 75/140 why is the friction additive only needed in the rear diff?

The use of most synthetic gear oils negates the need for friction modifiers.

negative, synthetic helps in prolonging life of parts as for the friction modifier is to help lubricate the trac-loc clutches.
