I have an '03 Liberty, it still has the original nuts on the wheels, but there all rusted, and don't look nice anymore. I'd like to change them, but I don't know the size or where I should get them? I would like to be good quality or close to OEM, if not OEM.

When I get around to it, I'm getting those. The Gorilla ones don't seem to last from my research.

What do you mean HJ they dont last ? They rust or mark easily or?

Yes the McGard in my long term (8 year) torture test, have performed flawlessly.
They have been removed for constant rotations, incl salty/winters, still no rust!
I feel safe with the McGard installed.

They mount with precision into the OEM rims, and stay torqued properly.

I used them on one of the XJs did a good job.
But I'll keep running stock on mine, I read on Facebook that if you use aftermarket lugnuts then you need to run a TB spacer, get a Thrush glasspack muffler and a CAI to pull the extra weight around .

You mean I could have did those simple mods to help with the extra weight?! Incredible! :happy175::happy175::happy175::gr_grin:

Yeah, apparently, found some threads on a few different forums and they're Chinese Rust after one or two seasons. It was pretty unanimous that McGuard is better.

McGuards aren't that much more expensive either.

So McGard 64010 is the number I should get?

And what would be the part number for the wheel locks?

the wheel locks came with the kit in my case, along with the socket needed....but if somebodies in the buisness of steeling wheels then they will have that key socket too

Like ya said Kris, Those locks will only stop honest people, the crooks have the keys and other ways to steal your wheels

I just got my complete set of McGard's today (with no locks). The stockers on the 05 have a few with caps missing and I'm with you guys about the locks. I'll leave the one on the spare for now.

If you take your vehicle to a shop ever just make sure the key socket is in there and they know where to find it

on here
I had the McGuards locks. Had them on the wheels and the spare. They were a PIA for me every time I did the tire rotation. Finally I just left them off and put them on the spare but that too was a PIA as I was doing a 5 tire rotation anyways. They are somewhere in the garage......don't know where anymore.

The McGuard lugs in TC's pic look solid so if I need to replace mine, I think I will get those.

Thanks guys. I'm just going to order 5 sets of the 64010, no need for wheel locks. Like Dave said it's more conviennent without them.
