Okay now a pic is shown.

That is a body plug were the OEM trailer wiring harness passes through the body.Since you do not have the OEM tow package you will have that plug instead of the wiring with a rubber grommet.

Trailer wire water tight cap you pop it off and the new goes on with the wiring

X2... That's what it is, and thats where i put my aftermarket trailer harness through. If you wanted to pass out a cable or wiring its the perfect location.
