we need tires and well I have been on the hunt for 16 rubicon wheels and not luck

thought 17" rubicons are for sale in every corner now i know there on 5x5 bolt pattern

you guys think it will work if i get some adapters for them 5x4.5-5x5 mayb 1.25" or 1.5" also help push them out a bit

reason i ask is because i found some really good ones with really almost new tires 225/75r17

my liberty is stock no lift and i know im gonna get some rubbing but how bad

They're rubicons just with 225/75r17
I used a tire calculator and there 30.29 diameter compare to the 245/70r16 which says they are 29.50 so they are .79 bigger has any 1 ever run 225/75r17?

Sagged suspension and that big of a tire you'll have rubbing since you have to use spacers etc
Even using TJ Rubicon rims and unlifted you'll have issues

I have 17's on my lifted KJ and they rubbed. So I can pretty much bet they will give you a problem.
