I know somewhere is the answer but I'm tired of looking and trying to figure it out lol. I have the factory 17 inch wheels on my 03. I just put these Gladiators 265/70/17 on today. They rub some on swaybar in hard turn. Don't want to use spacers so what backspacing do I need?

What lift do you have? How bad is the rubbing? Curious because I have the same wheels and looking to do similar sized tires.

I can't remember if I had 265/70/16 265/75/16s on my 02.

First how much " real lift " do you have over stock height?
NEXT that is a 31.6 inch tire so you need closer to 4 inches of lift to properly run that size . At least 3.5 inches .
Then when you have that much lift 7 inch wide wheel and 4 inches of backspacing
NOW add in 4.10 gearing cause you need that as well with that size tire
Been better off with a smaller tire

I've been running the 265/70/17 haven't noticed much difference in power and any loss of mpg. I'm running the Daystar 2.5. Lift. Pinch wield and front of inner fender taken care of. Only getting a small bit of rubbing on sway bar.

Its much harder on your motor and transmission , would never run that size with only 2.5 inches of lift or not regeared. Heck I have the JBA 2.5 inch coilover and 265-70-16s are as big as I want to go. (Sitting at 21.5 inches middle of wheel to bottom of flare) They are an inch shorter than what you are running, plus getting ready to install 4.10s on mine.

Good luck

4.10s will be going in mine, just trying to find the right rim.

And that I need to go up way more? I'm barely rubbing as it is. Only in hard turns.
