What is this hose?

While doing my spark plugs I saw the bottom half of this hose after the plastic piece was split and ziptied on but had a huge hole in it from the split. I need to know what it is so I can buy a new one as it's shaped.

it's a crankcase vent hose.

Awesome thanks! I'm guessing it's not good to be split wide open basically.

I did try and find some engine diagrams to ID the part but couldn't find much lol.

It won't affect your vehicle, it's just an EPA regulation that doesn't allow you to vent the crankcase to the atmosphere anymore.

It needs to be replaced, On one I was working on went to the NAPA store and found hose same size, still on there or was the last time I saw that KJ
