The 5000 series are Rancho's bargain basement models. You might as well go get some Monroes from Autozone.

I beg to differ sir! I have the 5000 series on my old 1990 toyota 4runner and it is a better ride than my kj...unfortunetly.:mad: Not arguing the fact that they are Rancho's bargain model, just that they are much better than cheesy Monroes, and many others. Oh, and I have the RSX series under the kj!:)

ThunderbirdJunkie could put Monroe Sensatracs on your 4runner and you would never notice a difference.

Probably gonna get flamed for this...BUUUUUUUUT....

Rancho RSX is pretty much equal to the Monroe Reflex.
Rancho 5000 is pretty much equal to the Monroe Sensatrac.

By equal to, ThunderbirdJunkie means they are the same exact shock, minus the steel sleeves on the Monroes for the rear shocks.

Ive heard this from suspension specialists too...i hear the come off the same assembly line
