Well the Wife and I went for a drive the other day. It was
beautiful out so we thought we would share some pictures.
I also found a nice rock to have a little fun on and try out
the lift.

Wow, beautiful surroundings and you got a walleye dinner to top it off! :party52:

Given the pic of your local "road" it's no wonder you need a Jeep up there - bet it's 'interesting' in the middle of January, eh?

Sure is, its snows like crazy here! It was even snowing in mid April. The Jeep is sure needed. We have a small community of about 300. And there are about 6-7 Liberties up here. People here really like them.

I would be to except for work. There isn't much for variety of fish it it. Mostly Walleye, Northern Pike and Sturgeon. The walleye in the picture was caught in the lake in front of our house. Thanks for the compliments!

Years ago I drove HWy #11 and really enjoyed the whole journey camping in Quetico Pk and others heading west. Really beautiful country!
I do remember playing baseball with some of the mosquitoes.
Thanks goodness for Deep woods Forest off and coils!

Thanks Ry'N Jen and LibertyTC. we actually live on the Quetico Park Border. Down a road named Flanders RD. It is beautiful here. Only problem is its pretty far away from civilization. We are looking forward to heading back home because we drive down HW 17 to Sault St. Marie.. Now that's scenery!! leaving for summer break in 3 weeks!!

Just for the sake of sharing here is the route we are taking home. Its a 2 day drive roughly 11 hours a day. We have already driven this 6 times this year. Should be fun. This is the same route we will be using when we bring our 18' camper back up next year.

If anyone from the forums is from around the Belleville area we should have a meet this summer!

lol yeah are we there yet is right! from the Sault to TB is roughly 9 hours! and aside from mountains cliffs and trees there isn't much to see. Some times we will head east at Wawa and head straight to Sudbury. Depends on how much energy and fuel we have. Gas stations along that router are almost a full tank apart for us.

Ya no doubt, I think it is lower parts of Canadian Shield. What trees?
I remember having to wait once in TB for a gas station to open as I arrived at 4 am, and no gas til 6:30 am, hope that has changed!
If I was doing that route I would have at least one 5 gal Gerry can ready~!
Good Memories and a spark plug dead that I had to clean at side of highway!
Carry Tool kit!
