Speaking of Tweeters, you twitter guys out there should follow me: @LaneKJ_ . I'll follow back, promise. :party52:

Going on. Today was a pretty warm day down here in Georgia. Perfect weather for riding around with the music up and windows down. And thats exactly what I did. Take note I did this during a 15-or-so minute drive across town. I was playing some rock music off my iPod. Not even that loud.

Pulling into my neighborhood, I turned the volume down(being polite and all). And when I rounded the turn onto my street, I noticed a buzzing sound coming from my Stock Tweeters. When I got home, I quickly researched how to tell if a Tweeter is blown. It said to play some pretty high pitched music, preferably female artist, and listen for a buzzing sound or distortion. I went back out to my KJ and played some "Adele". No buzzing. Flipped through more songs, no problems at all.

I'm confused. One minute they buzz, another second: nothing. Anyone else had issues with their tweeters?

Nope, not a tweeter but the rear drivers side door speaker buzzes
occasionally and only with certain types of music.
Then other times with the same music it doesn't buzz!

Must be a Jeep thing.

I've got 8 month old aftermarket door speakers in mine. Can't be the speakers. Unless Best Buy screwed with me. Lol. I don't get it...

Could be interference coming thru the iPOD, especially if you can't reproduce the noise at will. (think power lines)

I have a similar problem listening to iPod or XM through FM transmitter. Have to change FM frequency and it clears up.

See if it could be interference. Drive around with the ipod on but paused and turn the volume up so you can hear any interference that may be coming out.
