Trans. question

[K9 DAD]

I have an '05 Renny Renegade.

I just noticed today that after it sat for about 3 hrs., I put it in reverse, then drive. I pressed the accelerator whereupon it hesitated, then didnt bang, but bucked slightly into forward. I repeated the process several times.

After getting home about 15 min. later though, I cannot repliacte the problem.

Any thoughts?

Chrysler Automatic Transmission. Mine does it all the time. Even worse, believe it or not, when its cold, like first thing in the morning.

Mines been like that for about 5,000 miles or so now, but no problems.
