A few days ago I took the kj in to the shop and had the clutch and input shaft seal replaced. A few days later, i notice a grinding/growling noise when the clutch is engaged(not pushed in). I goes away whan the clutch is disengaged(pushed in). I think this is the input shaft bearing. My question is, could this be caused by the work they did, or is it a coincidence????:(

could be the throw out bearing touching the fingers on the pressure plate, maybe not enough clearance between the two?

Do you know if they used an alignment tool to put the clutch back together? Was the plate replaced at the same time? Was the fork?

I think the OEM replaces everything, that leaves the installation (I'd think you'd hear it right away) or a part that failed... Did you get any type of warranty with the labor?

90 day. But the guy is saying it's the ****** and nothing with the clutch work, you know, the typical response. What really ***** is he's one of my best friends dad.
