I've been thinking about adding tow hooks to the front. Does anybody know of a way of doing this without having to cut into the bumper or other painted/finished surfaces?

If you get the mopar hooks they just bolt right in without any modifications to your jeep.

Can get them on ebay and jparts.com sells them.

Beaware they are expensive.

he has an 05, so now there is no way to do this without mods. I thought that the little cover just popped off on the 05's. Do u have to cut it off?

I looked on my '05 Sport today, because I'm needing some tow hooks. It looks like the only way to install them is by cutting the tabs off. What would be the best to use to cut it? I don't want the jagged edge stuff. (Aeh)

I've heard a dremel works really well for this type of mod.

My front bumper

If you look at the bottom of those little squares, you can sort of make out a lifted edge at the bottom. That's all just connected to the bumper. Hard to believe they didn't make it a pop-off deal.

I used a dremel tool bit and then used the sanding wheel to smooth out the edge. Same way a guy at the dealership showed me to do it.
