Alright guys, I was lucky enough to find someone who had some factory tow hooks for cheap, but they didn't come with the mounting hardware. I know if you buy them from the dealer they come with M bolts, but i haven't been able to find them anywhere. I want to use grade 8 bolts, but does anyone know if just 3 bolts will be enough? or does the m bolt do something special? Don't really know how else to mount them up.

The M bolt just makes so you don't have to remove the bumper to install them. KJs that had them from the factory didn't use M bolts so regular bolts of the proper grade should be ok. You'll just have to take the plastic bumper off which is easy.

They don't sell the mbolts anymore. They sell plate steel with studs. I made my own with plate steel 12.9 bolts with the heads welded to the plates.
I used 1-1/4 wide steel, 1/8 or 3/16 plate. You can get it at homedepot
