Hey boys and girls I’m Chris or Tonka witch ever you prefer. I have a Black 07 KJ that is bone stock, but not for long….

My KJ build…

Lift...

I don’t want anything to big, I was reading about the 2.5 inch lift and that sounds good to me.

Tires/Wheels...

Not sure yet, I love the old style AR Baja wheels and was thinking about those…

As for tires i have always had good luck with BFG A/T's so thats what it will get...

Engine...

Only things I’m going to do here is put in a cold air intake and some sort of muffler upgrade...

Body...

debadge
front and rear bumpers.
rock sliders

Interior...

Seat mod
New speakers
Carbon fiber dash

Any coments, questions or imput please feel free to ask or tell me what i'm doing wrong. I will put up pics as i go along... this is going to be a long build so check back...thanks for looking!

as for the intake. Be careful there if you want to retain MPG performance. I just got the AEM system and it looks like I am about 1-2 mpgs down from where I was. I did contact AEM and they suggested dico. the batery and reconnect. Did that, we'll see... however I feel an increase in power, from the Butt Dyno.
Good luck on your transformation:smokin:

Yeah but you have trees I am sure
And I have seen roots do just as much
damage as rocks

Skids rank high,Libby's sit low. A rear locker will make a MAJOR diff.

Yeah I have a beach house/condo in Sea Isle City on Pleasant ave.

Ok this is getting out of hand, I have been pouring over build treads and pics for two days...

The 1st question I have is can the top of the rear spring plate thingy (for lack of a better term) be moved cut off and moved downward,? To get the same effect as the spacer isolators that have been installed after this pic?

Now here is my 2nd question, has anyone tryed to use coilover shocks and springs like there made by KING. Modified of course to fit inside of the top of the KJ's strut tower?
