HI. I'm new to tires and don't know too much about cars in general. I currently have 235/70R16 104S.
I would like to get some LT235/85R16E 120Q Goodyear Wrangler DuraTracs.
I don't want to do a lift. Will these tires fit? If not, will LT225/75R16E 115Q Goodyear Wrangler DuraTracs fit?
Also, does anyone have any experience with these tires? How are they? Specifically, how's the treadwear?

235/75 or 245/70 I believe are the biggest you can go. There are some people who have major rubbing using the 235/85's WITH 3" lifts.
225/75's are a stock size so the Duratraks should work with no mods. Few poeple have them, but kind of too early for length of wear.
There are a couple threads on the Duratracks on Lostjeeps.com, Tommudd for one has a small write up.

Tahoe is correct, 245-70-16 inch tires are the largest you can fit without a lift kit fitted.
A 245-70-16 is 29.5 inches tall and a 235-85-16 is 31.73 inches tall.
The 235-85-16 will rub the pinch weld and more than likely the inner
fender by the fog light access door.
The 225-75-16 should fit on an un-lifted Jeep Liberty.
They are 29.29 inches tall where as a 235-70-16 is 28.95 inches tall.
Just for your information, A 245-70-16 is 29.5 inches tall.
That would be your best bet for a stock hight Liberty.

x2, 245/70/16 is biggest for stock.

Another tire to consider is the Grabber AT2, some folks have got 80k+ from them. They come in 245/70/16.

225-75-16 availabale 29.3 inches tall according to Goodyear so like Ryan stated they should do well.
Duratracs are great tires all around, low noise, great traction, open tread cleans well in mud and snow, doing great for me and several others,

Grabber AT good street tire

Thanks Guys. I think Ill go with the 225-75-16 Wrangler DuraTrac tires. I really
wanted to go with the 235-85-16's but seeing as how I am not capable of
doing a lift and I hear that the cheap easy ones are bad for your vehicle, i'll
have to pass on them.sad2.gif

Thanks but seeing as how I live in NJ I don't think that'll happen. Just curious though, on average about how much would it cost to have a lift done?
