Of course our 2002 Liberty has begun a slap in the timing chain rigth before winter. Gears, tensioners and chains have been replaced and still getting a slap on the passenger's side. She's got 180k with the 3.7 & 4speed auto. Any thought appreciated.

Okay now we know what exactly you've done. As much info as possible helps us all. Still not exactly sure what this "slap" is. Maybe a sound recording might help. Are the chains loose now and were they loose when everything was replaced? Are the guides okay too?

Best described as "chain clatter". The new chain becomes lose on the passenger sisec camshaft sprocket. (top side only). Also new tensioners and chains, so kinda at a loss for the moment. Guides are new and chain is lose on passenger side only. Will try to get sound, but on road at the moment
