Looking to fix my clunky steering soon...going to replace the inner tie rods and the driver's out (passenger side outer is a year old Napa one). What's the best brand? I can't seem to find the inner ones on any Mopar sites.

When I got my Napa outer last year, they had 2 options. One was $25 and the other was $50. I got the $50 one as the guy said it would be thicker than stock. I can't say it looked beefier, not any worse and is greaseable. Has anyone gotten the $20 one and regretted it or noticed a difference?

For outers I've only gone with Moog. Just figured it's a reliable name. So far so good on one. But since I'm putting a new rack in there I got two brand new ones to put on.

I'll see if I can find them locally. Rockauto's warranty process is a pain compared to just taking them to an autopart store if/when they fail.

Believe it or not I get most Moog products from Advance Auto. I order them online and pick up in store because you can get 20% coupons online. Add in 5 or 10 bucks from Speed Perks and you have some cheap tie rod ends.

Napa has 2 product lines to compete with advance, autozone, and the like.

There cheaper parts are the cheap china made junk you normally find at advance and autozone. There higher priced items are the good stuff built for Napa by MOOG or Spicer and carries a lifetime warranty.

I have went with Moog and Spicer in the past for vehicles and have never had issues.

Moog makes the inner ones too. They have like 3 different part numbers though depending on the model year - pre and post 2005 and a different one for 2007 model.
