Not everything shows up on Carfax.

Carfax also shows a ton of errors.

Take my Carfax for instance.

It's showing TWO owners for my Jeep. Now how the heck's THAT possible?

ThunderbirdJunkie bought his '02 with 50,228 miles from the Chrysler dealership where he worked on Oct. 15th, 2005. We went through the Jeep's history and it never told us that the window regulator was replaced. Chrysler dealers are all linked so they can look up all the history of a vehicle. We just did not catch the window reg.

I did one on my Mini and "Carfax told me I was the 4th owner!
I was there when my old man bought it brand new off the showroom floor...
AND I AM the second owner!
Mind you, Carcraps thought it was a 2001 model!

Yeah carfax is a bunch of crap,my carfax only lists that I had the LBJ's changed once under a recall and that is it.They don't even list the $5500 hail damage that I fixed at the dealership,the other set of OEM LBJ's changed,and the 2 belt tensioners.

If that crap ever happens to me I'm just gona have a friend prop my window up. I'm not gona waste the money to fix that. Unless it's the driver window that falls. I kinda need that to get the fast food.
