My S-10(4.3, 4x4) got 22mpg on my commute(50/50) and my 05 Lib gets 19mpg. Kinda loss there but the lib gets 25.2 on highway cruise@65mph. 70mph it goes down to 21mpg.

When I first had my 04 Liberty Sport the best mileage I could get was about 20MPG highway. Since then I put on a 2.5" OTT lift, LT245/75R16 AT KO tires & a roof basket with four Hella lamps & a spare tire. Even with the BCM programed for the LT245/75R16 tires I could get no better than 19MPG highway. That's about 230 miles per tank of fuel.

This past weekend before going on a trail run in the deep woods I took the roof basket off and put the spare tire back on the rear tailgate. Was I ever surprised at the improvement for my mileage. Now I'm getting 22MPG average highway, 355 miles per tank of fuel. I'm leaving the roof basket off until I absolutely need it.

Sounds like the roof basket creates more drag than you would think.

Worried about city mileage

Currently I'm getting roughly 10,5-11 miles per gallon (about 190 miles per tank) with 100% city driving... 40000 miles on the clock, skids, rock rails, farm jack, crossbars, compressor, shackles, tow strap and stuff...

In the other hand, in 100% highway I'm getting almost 23 miles per gallon (about 360 miles per tank)

Is it my only option going to 4.10? I want to going for 265/70R16 after an OME lift... with my current setup my city mileage will go down to 7 miles per gallon if I'm lucky... :(

From July 2006 to November 2008 over 64K miles, 18.22 mpg average overall. A low of 15.29, a high of 23.66, not bad.

just ran through my first tank in my 08 KK and I got 16.94 with about 65% highway and 35% city. Just trying to learn how to drive her. I plan to do new spark plugs, oil change and new air filter here soon.

Right now I'm getting 17.8 according to the EVIC and I just filled the tank and calculated 17.18 MPG. I'm pretty sure that's what I was getting when it only had 3000 miles on it. In the summer I'll get closer to and even exceed 18 MPG. I mostly drive on city streets, rarely but occasionally on the highway. I need to do highway mileage next trip I take cause I have no idea there.

I get 14-15ish mpg with mixed driving. I got 20.1 mpg in Utah last week; I suppose it has to do with them not having crappy gas like back home in PHX.

Just got 18.1 all city driving. Maybe the 3-4 mile road I take to work and back at 50 MPH without stops helps. Besides that it is just normal city driving. Tires aired up to 35 lbs cold.

EVIC says 18.4. Its ********.

Got 20mpg going down to Florida and 19.5 coming back. Through the Carolinas and Georgia where the speed limit is 70 I had the cruise on 80 and sometimes 85. People were still passing me. They were running radar interference for me...:D

My trend is generally down. I get around 14-16 for pure city driving. But on a long trip I can still touch 21-- even with the KJ loaded with equipment and bratty kids.

Sounds like mine. I'm only getting 12.9 city and at the absolute best just over 16 highway with cruise set at 70 for the entire 3/4 tank with very little altitude changes. I cleaned the sensor in the intake cause it was real dirty and I also cleaned out the throttle body so we'll see if that helped.
All hoses look good, I stay on top of fluids, spark plugs have less than 8,000mi on em, air filter has 800mi on it, and I drive civilly. No check engine light, noises, rattles, rough running or anything like that.
