What he meant to say is that neither Marlon or I were there. Not sure why Marlon wasn't there.

I got this nasty cold on Wednesday which I've been fighting. I did try to go though - I drove down and camped there last night... but the cold/damp air got the better of me, and I didn't sleep at all last night, and made the cold worse. Once daylight came, I was absolutely miserable. As opposed to making anyone else miserable along with me, I decided to go home.

I'm pretty bummed about the whole thing. I was looking forward to it.

Thanks for posting the pics, Matt. Anyone else staying through until tomorrow? I left some wristbands/window tags with Will in case anyone wanted to stick around and camp. I already paid for the second night (tonight), and couldn't see them going to waste. Hope someone could get some use out of them.

While you guys were there, I was on my way down, looks like I missed Matt by about 5 minutes. I was in the area the whole time. I wanted to make a few phone calls but noooooo, my phone's battery completely died. It wouldn't charge at all. Stupid POS.

Gee I hope I can run tomorrow. Those Jeeps look big. I didn't drive all the way down here for no reason.

Get better Jayme. When I was at the McDonalds, that Grand Cherokee was also in the parking lot. Go friggin figure... Talk about a disaster.

I was but I couldn't financially. There will be a few guys meeting there tomorrow also so the group size will be decent.

deeper water than i thought and i killed the engine before i damaged it. i took the intake tube off and checked for contamination. filter and tube were dry as a bone

the cai saved it. the metal plate around the filter was waterproof enough that the water went everywhere but in the filter. i remembered what happened to the other jk and i killed it.
i forgot i pulled my rear drain plugs and i filled up my tool compartment and jack compartment with muddy water
