yea I've seen those pics allready nd I think both ends are slipned but those it just stick in the diferential and holds it there?


I'm not 100% sure about this (used to SFA) but the diff looks like it's being supported by the engine cradle.....

yea that's what I thought that's why I kind of want it to see to compare it to mine see if the cradle is the same

Not 100% sure about the KJ, but typically there is a clip in groove on the spline that would fit into the front axle. I've pulled one on a FWD car and it was a PITA to get disconnected from the transmission (because I didn't have the right tool ;) )

Wow, is the bottom of your KJ really that clean or did you have Jeepjeepster come by and detail the undercarridge with Q-Tips?:D
I think our KJ was clean like that once... When it left the factory!

I prefer cotton balls.....:D

I was just thinking I need to clean under there again....but it too hot now.

It'll have to wait till Labor Day.....:(

I hear that
ours/hers was less than a year old and had 50# of mud/rocks and sticks in the front skid alone
and this was after just 1 wheelin trip
you could not get the bottom of either jeep that clean no matter how hard you tried

thats it, theres nothing holding it on top???
i looked at mine and found some holes with thread and a nut welded, ill take pics of it.
Also my hubs are splined allready.
