I think my KJ might give you a stroke! Lotsa, lotsa trail rash, and definitely needs a thorough cleaning on the inside... eek2.gif

Are you starting a list of whose KJ you're working on next? If so, I'd like a place in line. ;)

Silver is harder to get a good reflection out of, but it can be done I suppose:

I'm gonna attempt to make the kj prettier on Saturday - wash and use the buffer to minimize some of the trail rash... I'm participating in a Toys 4 Tots Jeep run on Sunday and I want it to look good. drive.gif

I actually don't use my buffer that much, but when I do it's usually buffing out a scratch. For light ones, Meguire's Cleaner wax, and for hard ones, Ultimate Compound.

I have a lot of lighter trail rash. I'm not looking to eliminate it all this go around, but to improve the lighter stuff would be a good start. :D Maybe I'll pick up the Meguire's and try that tomorrow.

Sure thing, feel free to ask more...

Make sure you clay! What soap are you using?

Taking it to the car wash first... Not willing to hand wash it in 40-degree temps outside. Then I'll go home, dry it real good and start working on the scratches with the buffer.

This time of year, I don't go all out. That's what the springtime is for. I do the clay bar during the spring/summer months.
