Split Style Rear Backing Plates

Hi Guys

If this has been mentioned before,
I missed it.

Dorman has a Split-style backing plate,
or as they call it, dust shield.

The price for a pair is less than one side
of the original style, with shoes etc. from
Mopar.

There are pros and cons to this style and
I really don't want to debate that. I just
wanted to let everyone know they're
available for those who want to go this
route.

Are those so you don't have to pull the axle to replace the backing plates?
