My pig tail end was fine so I used bulk wire and rewired it using enough wire to route it better so there should be no rubbing. then i wrapped in abrasion resistant tape. works great, no issues at all.

I suggest to bend or remove the e brake holder away from the axle on the left side. When I replaced the pigtail I did the exact same thing and never had issues. Almost been 2 years.

2 months later, I finally have a working speedometer again. I had replaced the connector and pigtail with the Mopar kit from the dealer and with no luck there I changed out the sensor with the same results. Come to find out the connector kit I purchased was defective in way that would not allow the terminals to make contact with sensor. Had my Jeep in the shop the other day to diagnose my front cv axle and he mentioned the connector looked the same as the fuel injector connector on a Chrysler harness he had out back. Sure enough it was the same so we cut the defective Mopar connector off and wired up the replacement and was on my way.
