Sticker under hood says .040. Haynes manual says .048-.053. Autozone guy looked it up .035. WTF? If I don't get a response quick, going with the sticker

I change my plugs every 25k Miles, because the gaps are wider by then anyways.
What is this "spark plug" you all keep speaking of???
