spare MTR

1 will have a plug and about 50% tread
1 will have a bad belt but should be good for a spare

so I have them in the back of my truck
any body want them?
like I said these would make a great 5th tire
and I know there are quite a few people running 245/75's brand X but no full size spare
I have a Jeep tire cover that I will through in for $10
I have to check to see if it fits over the 245/75's but it should work
getting a flat on the rear with out a full size spare is the worse
you will have to remove the tire from the front
install the spare on the front
remove the rear flat and install the good front
then get the flat fixed and reinstall it on the front ,which will mess up your rotation pattern
on top of all that you can not use 4wd

now does any body need a spare tire?

not first hand
but more than once I have been on a trail and had it happen
people avoid the stump ,root or rock with their front tire but forget that they have a rear tire and they rip the side wall
