cherokees also had them, which are fitted to the roof/headliner unlike the wrangler versions which were attached to the roll bar, so i am thinking the wrangler ones would be harder to adapt...but anything can be done.
maybe check out the units from a 97-01 jeep cherokee. they also had them in the 96- years but the newer ones are probably nicer/might fit the roof line better
