Ski/snow board racks

What does everyone use/like? I would like a combo, as I switch between the two, and 4 pairs of skis on it is a must. I would also consider one of those cargo carriers.

I swear by Thule products.
With just some locking cross bars and a ski box, you're in business!
An eleven cubic foot ski box will easily hold four pairs of
skies, poles, boots, and two snow boards. As well as scads
of smaller equipment.
The problem I have found with rack mounted ski/snow board
carriers is that the skies and or boards tend to collect allot of
road debrie (thrown up gravel, dirt, salt...) not that good for
bindings!

Not to mention that the rest of the year the box works really
Well for carrying luggage, camping gear, and all your wife's
shopping bags. (Or your wife if she gets out of hand!!!)

Yakima roof rack systems are also top quality.

Those are the two brands I was considering. I think the closed ones will be the best, given the multi season use.

I've never noticed an issue with rental skis and leaving them on rentals driving though dirt, but then again that's one week...but it sure make sense to clean 'em out.

I typically throw the boards in the cargo area (easy with no back seats/passengers though).

I bought a used Yakima last year holds 4 skis or pairs of skis also good at holding flushing poles. I love it and it's a great set up if you'd like pics let me know!

Ya, good idea using a ski rack to hold fishing rods!
