Shocks / Lift or What?

I've got an 02 KJ with 74,000 miles on the original shocks and some 3 month old 235/70R/16 Firestone Destination AT tires. I sort of feel the shocks should be replaced. I don't necessarily want to lift the KJ but am open to ideas. Anyone out there have any suggestions?

Depends on what you want. If you have no reason for a lift, I wouldn't lift it. Decreases MPG, more wear and tear on parts, would make your new tires look out of place on the Jeep Just get new shocks and springs, etc. If you wheel it a bit and want the extra lift, then you are at the right spot to do some research on what fits your needs.

if you're gonna do that, you could look into this: http://www.rocky-road.com/kjrockfather.html the rockfather I kit.... I think this is what I have decided to go with. replaces your worn out front springs and struts, new shocks for the rear, and a "mild" lift while you're at it.
