So my 07 KJ Limited has several tears in the leather on the driver's side seat. I've been using this leather repair tape (https://www.amazon.com/JVCC-REPAIR-1-Leather-Vinyl-Repair/dp/B01GQNHSHM) as a temporary fix, but it does not adhere well and I need a more permanent fix. Currently debating whether I should use a leather repair kit, try to patch it somehow, or use a seat cover (not even sure if that works over leather?). Anybody dealt with this issue with the leather interior? Thanks!

I got mine redone with new foam. The guy was able to get the exact OEM "leather". Cost about $90

I had tried that but no one seemed interested. Found some guy that works out of his garage to do it, I took in the seat to him. He was 88 and that was 3 or 4 years ago, so I'm not banking on having that option again lol.
