just for the sake of a good tune up im going to have my injectors cleaned by a machine. doing so means i must take them out and send them off.

question. if i take 1 gallon of seafoam and 1 gallon of gas in the tank and drive for 15 miles before adding any more fuel, would this clean them just as good...or would it totally screw my engine up?

im coming up on 80k.

Most of us just add half a bottle to a tank every couple months and seems to work well. I usually dump in some right before a big trip with lots of highway and hasn't steered me wrong yet.

No damage and loads easier. If you believe their noticeably clogged, toss in the other half in the following tank.

seafoam works great. but ive never used it on my fuel of a vehicle with mileage that low. used twice on my dodge ram. once via throttle body and once via vacuum lines. the magnum engine ate cats anyway

if you do, for some reason, decide to pull them out, be sure to replace the o-rings too. over $100 from the dealer, about $12 at the parts store

no i mean im not putting the 50/seafoam-50/gas mixture. ill just clean them as u suggested. ha
Then bye-bye mpg's and power. Not to mention illegal with a $2500 fine per cat removed if caught and zero chance of being able to sell it.

Just do proper maintenance on your vehicle.
Seafoam... A bunch of crap!

I would agree, except for cleaning a small engine carb. Had a need for my generator this past weekend, but it kept surging. Been too long since I ran it, had some gum buildup I guess. Any how, broke down the carb, pulled the jets out, soaked the whole thing in Seafoam, then cleaned with compressed air. Once reassembled, ran like a champ! :)
