The rear power outlet has started not connecting to DC jacks and forcing me to wiggle them around or put pressure on them. How hard is it, and how do you, replace that outlet? Does the whole dang side panel have to come out?

I did find the section that applies, confused, that looks like an internal snap ring pliers.

Hopefully someone has replaced this receptacle & may offer more info for you.

I had to also replace the front and you are not going to use snap ring pliers to pull it out. You have to pull the dash cover out then good luck getting the AC Power cover cap off the lighter adapter. That being the case I highly doubt the rear just pops out.
