Replacing motor mounts - do you need an engine crane?

I'm sure I read somewhere that replacing the motor mounts in the 3.7L requires supporting the engine from above, you can't use a jack from below. Is this correct? If so, it's not a DIY job for me

A cherry picker is always a handy unit to have when undertaking a job like that.
I'm sure you can rent one to do the job...

It's just not practical for me. I do all my wrenching in the parking lot of my apartment building, I have nowhere secure to store a crane and there are no rental places near me anyway.

Buy one at a Harbour freight store then when you are done with it return it!
