I am replacing the speedometer cluster. Will it revert back to the original miles?
This doesn't answer your question, but I know that in a Durango the odometer goes with the cluster. So when a friend changed his cluster he got the milage from the other vehicle, just happened to be less. When that happens I think your also supposed to go and have a note made on the title about correcting the milage. I don't know if my friend did that or not, and I'm not trying to start an ethics discussion. I'm sure someone else will pipe in and let us know for sure where it is stored on the KJ.

After reading the link... it does not take the new cluster's mileage right??
Is it a stock cluster or after-market? If its stock then you could probably take it in and have the mileage set to the current value. On an after-market unit I'd check with the manufacturer to see if that can be done (probably not a problem).
