replacing CV's.....what all parts is involved?

Taking the whole "strut" assembly out is way easier, sounds like you left it in, only takes 30 seconds more to pull it , super easy to change out did mine in about 45/ 50 minutes on the right side
When you pull the intermediate and CV apart you will see the problem I am sure

ya, left it in,it was PITA to move the fork out of the way.

havent got it apart yet, it is a real *****, on there really good, and i agree thats where the problem is gonna be. gonna have to put it in the vise at work to break it apart i think.

my friend that helped is freaking me out cause when right side was pulled there was a tiny bit of filings on the end of the shaft that came out of the pumpkin and hes thinking its something in the diff. due to seeing that. im gonna have to take the cover off to inspect it.
