If they're 235/70/16 they will fit.

he means 245/70R16, I think 345/70R16 would be HUGE!

But yes, 215/75R16 will fit and work fine. They are slightly narrower than the 225/75R16 and 235/70R16 that are stock on the 2005s, but they will work fine (so long as all 4 tires and the spare are the same size)

But he's right to suggest a wider tire if you want to use it like a jeep. 235 or 245 make good widths, 245/70R16 is known to fit well on the stock liberty.
