rear window wiper

So, tried mine yesterday on my 2007 jeep, for the first time since I bought it two weeks ago. It struggled to make it halfway, then would only go a quarter of the way, now it barely moves an inch. how much to fix this, anyone, please?

Use the plastic clip from the old wiper.

Otherwise, only buy OEM rear wipers. They last the longest and perform the best anyway, thus negating the huge price disparity.

TBJ, I think he's saying the wiper arm is not moving, at least not well... not sure what that would have to do with wiper blades?

Mine recently started doing the same thing. If I try to use it it will get stuck about 1/4 of the way up. Makes opening the glass a real pain I had to force it back down again, it wouldn't go anywhere from there the last time I tried it.

I'd also appreciate any insight into the problem - I assume it's something going in the motor?

I agree with the OEM wiper - the original is still on mine and would be wiping just fine, if it would move!

Whoops.

Pop the interior panel off the tailgate and see if it's binding.
