That Merc looks like it has Indiana plates....

yeah it did. And these f*cks have the nerve to claim injury.. after I was so nice to them. I wasn't going faster than idle.. definitely was not injury.. musta seen the jeep and thought hmm dollar signs..

Sounds like a southern Indiana thing...(no offense to any southern Hoosiers here, I'm from Lake County)

I actually got rear-ended by an Acura Integra one morning. Her hood buckled, headlamp shattered, and one side of her bumper let go. My Thule "Spare me" bike rack got scratched on the underside...

it still amazes me how well the front of these kjs hold up even though they feel like paper when you push and pull on the front bumpers.

I'm really surprised you weren't blamed for the collision, I thought that was assumed whenever there's a rear end collision.

From the damage to the Mercury I'm really surprised your airbags didn't deploy, that could easily have been the most expensive repair to your Libby.

The Libby is misleading, even though it looks relatively small when compared to a Cherokee it actually weighs just as much. And as long as you hit an object head on you're not likely to twist the unibody frame.

Yeah, an ARB bumper would have made a big difference. You would've stopped in their back seat :p
