Rear end?

Im new to the forum and was wondering how do I figure out which rear end is in my jeep? It may have been posted prior but couldn't find it thanks in advance.

Always helps when posting a question to say what year etc.
In this case its pretty easy since you have the 8.25
UNLESS
you have a early production model then it could have a 35
very few came out with the 35 but a few did
So anything after early 02 models are 8.25s

Welcome to the forums. A free complete build sheet is always very helpful as well.
It will list the rear axle and if it is a Limited slip, which requires a Mopar LS additive it will then state "Trac-Lok in the sheet..

Thanks for the info its an early 02 11/01 production date limited 2 wheel drive.

Is the diff flat on the bottom? That's a 8.25, if it's round it's a Dana 35. But 11/01 is late enough to have the 8.25, 02s started in January or February of 2001.
