I have a clunk coming from the rear when hitting harder bumps...the clunk is on the compression stroke. It's more felt that heard. Also noticed this: (on both drivers and passenger sides)

Looks like the tires are hitting where it's clean. I have a few theories...
1. Trilink is shot and that's the end of story
2. Trilink is not shot and it's the tires hitting the wheel wells (and maybe that's what I'm feeling/hearing?)
3. Trilink is shot and creating the rubbing issue and the clunky feel because it's letting the axle move
How do I check the trilink? I did a quick glance and the bushings weren't missing or torn and the ball joint boot looked fine. Drives great on the highway, feels stable etc. How should I look for play?

Thanks!

I checked mine by rocking the Jeep back and forth while in gear, e-brake off (or in park for those who are manual trans deficient) and watched the tri link.
My ball joint was shot and the link was lifting away from the joint, when it's that bad the slop is obvious.
