Hello KJers! My 2005 KJ 3.7L is making a rattling noise whenever I am in reverse or drive. It seems to come on randomly as I have had a friend come over to help me and whenever I start it the sound is there for a few seconds and then it's gone. It usually gets louder as I press the throttle and it is very audible whenever I go through a drive thru and the sound bounces off the walls. I have a feeling it's coming from under the car but I can't be 100% sure.
Does anyone have any suggestions or work I can do to diagnose the problem?
Some info about my KJ:
152,000 miles.
Recently changed transmission fluid and filter in the beginning of January.(Transmission fluid level is NOT low and has not leaked)
Had coolant flushed last December.
Oil pan and gasket replaced last October.
Lower ball joints replaced.
I noticed this at the beginning of this year, after I had the above work done.
