I have to say, the Libby impressed me this week!

This past friday a buddy of mine asked if I'd pull his S-10 with a blown 2.2 over to a place for him to strip some parts off. So, we got a car dolley and loaded up. I was a little curious how the Libby would do pulling around 3 grand between the dolley, truck, and his stuff in the truck. I was a little concerned about stopping too as I don't have a brake controller installed yet and the dolley didn't have brakes.

Well, after climbing a couple steep hills and several red lights, we made it.
The Ol' Girl did excellently! Pulled the weight like it was nothing and stopped it just fine! Gives me a lot of encouragement for camper towing in the future!

It's always surprising just how competent a vehicle the KJ is. I'm very happy with mine and really don't see me getting rid of it any time in the foreseeable future!

I agree my family and I have towed a 18ft Starcraft 18RB hybrid camper for the last few years and havent had any troubles. I think the camper weighs in at 2400lbs, and we use a load leveling hitch.
