Ok so this problem is new and just started Monday. when its wet outside due to rain or snow and stuff like that, that drum seems to be locking up. but only when the jeep is not warmed up. meaning driving for a few miles.

I had my rear brakes adjusted over the summer but at the time didn't need new shoes. I may need them now but a mech friend of mine said that the shoes wouldn't be the problem maybe the adjuster.

Anyone else have this experience? and if so how was it fixed?

Did you pull the drum and look at it. My left one started doing this a few months ago and when I checked I found the wheel cylinder was leaking and polluted the shoes. Really only noticed it when cold. I replaced everything on both sides, cylinders, lines from the split on the diff, springs, drums and shoes.
