power steering cooler - bypassed

I was just working on my son's 2003 Liberty Limited and noticed a couple of hoses were disconnected. Apparently, someone bypassed the power steering cooler. Was the cooler an option? He uses the Jeep for work, maybe 25 miles each way, and it doesn't see much long distance travel. I suspect someone bought the wrong hose and just left the cooler out of the loop. If it was just an optional cooler, I won't worry about it for now.

You should be fine, mine doesn't even have a power steering cooler.

I think it's part of the HD towing package(?).

Some year models have it some don't
I assume that is what happened got the wrong parts and just by passed it, stupid but some don't care to do anything right
