I have a 2004 Libby LTD. A few months ago the adjustment for the power rear view mirrors was working fine. Than quit. Today I dug out my factory service manual to see what the problem was. I went right to 8N-10, page 14 to trouble shoot.
None of the test produced any results. No kidding so I'm left scratching my head.
When I go into the wiring section 8W-62-6 to confirm the wire colors and pin locations I get nothing like what is in the attached picture. I tried "hot wiring" the mirror motors to make sure both were operating.....nothing.
I have no power to the rear view mirror switch at all. BTW the key was in "RUN". I followed fig. 2 "mirror motor test chart".....nothing. What would be the odds of both power mirror motors going U/S, the Switch, ground and power source all going U/S at the same time? I say not.
Any suggestions?
