I picked up this KJ for the deer lease. But since lost the lease & now I want to use it to drive around & back in forth to off road park with in a 6hr road trip from my house. I’m gonna lost the things I know it has & some upgrades I want to to. Could y’all give some opinions on the matter?
Not sure of the lift. Measures 23” from fender to center of the hub on left side.
Running 285/75/16 on Moab wheels.
Jba upper arms
Has ‘08 CRD running gear(front & read diff’s & transfer case).
1” spacer on the front
2” spacer on the rear
Now I’m in need of tires, looking at 265/75/16. The 285’s rub
Do I need the front sway bar for off roading?
Thinking of 4.56 gears with some sort of locker.
Any opinions would be appreciated.
This jeep was originally set up with Iron Rock rear arm, braced rear diff, steel front diff, 4:1 transfer case & 4.56’s with air lockers. All this was installed on the CRD I got the running gear out of.
