Edited - I deleted most of what I wrote as it does look like I was wrong. So I would like to publicly apologize for saying he lied about sending me a check.
I obviously was still not very happy about the time frame involved, but it appears he did refund my money.
I will have to ask her, but it looks as though the wife may have signed for it as he did and probably cashed it, tho I will know for certain tomorrow.
If she did, she probably put it in my account, but I never pay attention to what comes and goes.
Anyway - it looks as tho I was 100% wrong as far as him saying he was going to refund my money and never following through. It seems he did exactly what he said he would.
It also seems he may have even refunded me more then I actually paid as I did get a discounted price. If the check was cashed, as I now believe it was, I will be sending him back the difference. Apparently it was an "aggravation" fee, but I only want exactly what I paid.
Again, I do apologize top Martin for saying he never sent the check like he said he was going to do. He apparently did do exactly what he said he would.
I am sorry and will have a talk with the wife about maybe mentioining small things like this to me. I know she'll say and show me that she put it in my account, but she might want to tell me things like this so I do not make an ass out of myself publicly.
