Oil Leaking Behind Filter

Have an 06 KJ Sport v6 3.7. Oil leaking from what appears to be behind the
oil filter. I tried changing the filter several times and after some time on the road, the filter is covered in oil. So i don't think its the filter itself but the assembly its attached to. Anyone know what this "assembly" is called and how easy it would be to replace. I called around to advance and oreilly auto parts but they seem to have no idea what the hell I am talking about.

it could be the oil pressure sender right above the filter.

Stupid thought but maybe o ring from a previous filter is stuck on the block?

I first thought of an old gasket. Easy to leave behind.

Then the oil pressure sender if no extra gasket on the mount.

Just checked, no o-ring left behind.

Then check the oil pressure sending unit right above the filter like uss2defiant said.
