Nice weekend vacation spot wanted

Looking for a place to hole up in a hotel room for a weekend in May to get away from the real world.

Any suggestions on some nice places in CT/RI/MA/eastern NY? I suppose southern VT or NH would be fine too, just dont want to spend more than a few hours getting there. No offroading will be involved in this trip, just hopefully lots of off-clothing:icon_twisted:

Go up to Lake George NY. Plenty of motels and May is off season so the rates will be lower. Plenty to do. PM me if you want to find a trail. There's a couple of easy ones near there where you won't break anything I could show you. Otherwise, you got the lake, plenty of shopping at touristy places, etc, etc.
